The company
- Who is behind Time-Line Continuum?
- Time-Line Continuum Pty Ltd (ACN 648 030 915) is a company based in Sydney, NSW, Australia. It was founded by Robert (Bob) Rosengreen and Andrew (Andhi) McGurk. The company builds and publishes timelines, and it develops the tools people use to create their own.
- When did Time-Line Continuum start?
- Time-Line Continuum was established in 2012 by Robert (Bob) Rosengreen and Andrew (Andhi) McGurk.
- How do I get in touch?
- Write to info@time-linecontinuum.com, or use the form at the bottom of any page. The form also puts you on our mailing list; leave the message blank if you only want the list. A real person reads every message.
The timelines on this site
- What is a timeline?
- A timeline puts events in the order they happened, so you can see how a story developed. Each event has a date, a title and the detail that explains why it mattered, often with photographs, documents and links. Read more about what a timeline is.
- Do I need an account, or to pay, to read the timelines here?
- No. Every timeline on this site is free to read, with no account needed. Browse the timelines.
- What if a date is not known exactly?
- Then the timeline says only what is known. Where a source gives only the month or the year, that is all the timeline shows, rather than inventing a day.
- Can my own timeline appear on this site?
- Not yet. Under TLCp's privacy policy we do not read the timelines people make for themselves, so we would not know what a timeline contains until it was already public. In future we may introduce a careful review before a timeline can appear on this site.

- It depends whose story it is.
- TLCp if you want to make a timeline of your own.
- TLC News if you want to follow how a news story is unfolding.
- TLC Family if you are tracing a family rather than a story.
- What does it cost?
- Reading the timelines on this site is free, with no account needed. The three products are free to use at the moment: TLCp and TLC Family while we are getting started, and TLC News while it is in beta. If that ever changes, each product will tell you before it applies to your account.
- Do I need a separate account for each product?
- Yes. Each product has its own website and its own account, so you sign up separately for each one you want to use.
