Privacy policy

What this website collects, what we do with it, and who else is involved. Last updated 16 September 2026.

The short version

This website has no accounts and no login. We set no cookies of our own. We do not sell or share your information, and we do not run advertising trackers. The only personal information we ever receive is what you type into the form yourself.

Who we are

Time-Line Continuum Pty Ltd operates this website. If you want to ask anything about this policy, write to info@time-linecontinuum.com.

Reading the timelines

You can read every timeline on this site without an account, without signing in and without telling us who you are. We do not ask you to identify yourself to read anything here.

The mailing list and enquiry form

If you use the form, you give us your name, your email address, and a message if you choose to write one. That is sent to us as an email so we can reply to you and, if you asked to join the mailing list, add you to it.

The form is sent to us as an email, through our own mail server on this website’s own domain. We do not store form submissions in a database on this website. The website has no database of its own for that purpose.

Your IP address is held briefly in the server’s memory while the form is submitted, purely to stop the same source flooding it. It is also passed to the anti-spam check described next, for the same reason. We do not write it down, we do not keep it, and we do not use it for anything else.

To stop automated programs using the form to send us junk, the form carries a check from Cloudflare called Turnstile. In almost every case it runs quietly in the background and you will not be asked to do anything at all. To tell a person from a machine, it receives your IP address and some technical information about your browser. It does not ask you to identify photographs, it sets no cookies on this website, and it is not used to follow you around the web.

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove you from the mailing list and delete your details. Write to info@time-linecontinuum.com and we will do it.

Visitor statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages they read. It is deliberately chosen because it sets no cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. We see totals, meaning how many visits a page received, not individuals.

Images and media

Photographs and other media shown inside a timeline are stored in our own storage and served through this website. When your browser asks for one, our server checks it belongs to a published timeline before returning it.

Who else is involved

Running a website means relying on a few services. The ones that can see anything at all are: Vercel, which hosts the site and provides the analytics described above; Supabase, which stores the timeline content and images; Cloudflare, which runs the anti-spam check on the form; and our email hosting provider, which carries the form message to our inbox. Each has its own privacy policy.

Links to other places

This site links to our other products and, inside some timelines, to sources elsewhere on the web. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s website, under their privacy policy, not ours.

Our other products

Time-Line Continuum Personal, Time-Line Continuum News and TLC Family are separate applications with their own accounts and their own terms. This policy covers this website only. Read about them on the TLCp, TLCn and TLC Family pages.

Changes to this policy

If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too.
